GENERAL STATEMENT

Rho Phi Inc is bounded by the laws of the federal government of the United States, the state governance of Georgia, the local governance of any locality in which it operates per its Constitution, and the rules of any grounds on which it conducts official events. Rho Phi upholds documents that it ratifies as binding to its conduct as an organization. Rho Phi asserts these documents as wholly representative of the real structure of Rho Phi and its decision making capacities. Rho Phi operates with particular respect to the bounds of IRC 501(c)(10) and 501(c)(8) designation as well as Title IX of the United States Code. Rho Phi is thus necessarily an apolitical organization. Accordingly, Rho Phi does and will not represent, materially support, endorse, or otherwise aid any political entity in any capacity. Rho Phi does not maintain official affiliation with any religious institution. Rho Phi is a fully independent organization which operates under the permission of educational institutions but without specific affiliation or responsibility beyond that which is stated in its governing literature. Rho Phi reserves the right to conduct appropriate discussion with respect to its academic orientation constituent to its own ratification. Any such discussion would not constitute an official position or statement of the organization of Rho Phi. Rho Phi has not and will not engage in any anti-social activities, real or imagined. This includes but is not limited to: harm, mental or physical, “hazing” of any form, coercion of any form, discrimination, or exposure to offensive materials. Rho Phi reserves the right to admit and reject members on the basis of their potential to contribute to the organization, with respect to previous protections for individuals interacting with the organization. Rho Phi rejects any and all notion or nomenclature which would designate, synonymize, or otherwise associate the organization with a “cult”. Rho Phi reserves the right to employ discretion in its operations, particularly in promotion of the organization, protection of its unique culture, and for protection of members, being largely composed of minors. Rho Phi reserves the right to engage in harmless esoteric practices and cultivate unique social spheres among members. Rho Phi asserts its dedication to transparency and compliance with state actors, educational institutions, and parental bodies, for which private disclosure of transcripts, logs, and reports is always available contingent upon relevance and request. Rho Phi will not engage minors for directed activity without parental consent wherever it may be reasonable to expect such. Rho Phi asserts that the responsibility of safety while engaged with the organization beyond its reasonable duties is entirely with those who participate and or their guardians.
