REGISTRANT JURISPRUDENCE

General

It is here recognized in that the matter of officially registering Chapters of the Rho Phi Society at established institutions that some manner of faculty approval, sponsorship, or oversight may be required, whereby hereafter such persons embodying this role may, for the duration of their useful completion of this role, be designated as “Registrant(s)”;

Expectations

In this manner, it is here recognized that the manner of Registrant involvement may include:

1. Physical presence at meetings held at the institution;
2. Joint correspondence to administration regarding some relevant acts of Rho Phi;
3. Notification regarding some relevant acts of Rho Phi;

Registrants are not required to join Rho Phi for the purposes of continued registration; Appointment, communications, and oversight of Registrants is the entire duty of the Secretary of the relevant Body for which the Registrant is to aide in registration and compliance; Registrant here must be a full-time, benefits eligible employee of Georgia State University;

Prohibitions

With regard to this manner, the following should apply in the case that the Registrant is not a full Member of Rho Phi:

1. No inspection of documents marked as Private or Restricted and beyond the purview of the institution shall occur unless necessary, approved by the Grand Commissioner Secretary, or wholly consented to by the persons there concerned;
2. No information rendered unto the Registrant in the course of their duty may be considered, by mere color of that disclosure, eligible for publishing to the Public;
3. No compromise of the integrity of the democratic properties of Rho Phi shall occur, whereof the Registrant shall advise and report only to necessary compliance;

Registrants observing Member status shall be exempted from these prohibitions except as naturally incurred by the status of their Membership; Nothing herein shall be construed to prohibit a Registrant from fulfilling any mandatory duty of reporting or complying with applicable institutional or legal requirements.
